Shift4 Puts the “Zen” Back Into Online Payments – Leading Payment Gateway Announces Integration to Zen Cart e-Commerce Solution

LAS VEGAS (Marketwire) Wednesday, September 14, 2011 Shift4 Corporation, already the world’s largest independent card-present gateway, today makes another move into the card-not-present sector by announcing an integration to the popular Zen Cart e-commerce solution.

The integration combines the simplicity that made Zen Cart popular with the security that only Shift4 can offer.

“This integration presents a great opportunity for Zen Cart users,” said Shift4 CEO Dave Oder. “Not only can we help keep them secure and compliant by removing cardholder data from their systems, we can also give them additional control by keeping the shopper on their site during checkout.”

Shift4 plans to offer the same pricing structure for Zen Cart and other e-commerce transactions as it currently offers for brick-and-mortar clients, meaning Zen Cart users who switch from their current solution to Shift4’s integration could save nearly 50 percent on transaction fees.

In addition to a substantially lower cost structure, Shift4 also offers a host of features designed to simplify payment processing for merchants. From world-class, 24/7 customer support to enterprise-wide auditing and reporting functionalities, all of Shift4’s value-adding components are included with their DOLLARS ON THE NET® gateway at no additional cost.

While the integration is to be initially marketed primarily to existing Shift4 clients who use Shift4 in their retail store locations, this pricing structure will no doubt attract new clientele.

This integration module is currently available. Merchants not yet using Shift4 can request more information from [email protected].
