LAS VEGAS (Marketwire) Monday, June 20, 2011 — Shift4 Corporation is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Bob Lowe to the position of Vice President of Business Development.
Previous to this promotion, Lowe was Shift4’s Director of Strategic Relationships and dealt primarily with Shift4’s partner program. In his new position, he will oversee both the partner and the business development/sales programs.

Prior to working with Shift4, Lowe spent nearly 25 years in the hotel software vendor space, where he managed point of sale, property management, and central reservation systems, and took a particular interest in electronic reservation and electronic payment systems integrations. Lowe managed payment integration projects and partnerships with payment gateways in North America, Europe, and Asia. He also served on the board of the Open Travel Alliance, as Assistant Chair of the HTNG Kiosk Self Service Standards Group, as an active participant in HTNG Payment and Reservation Work Groups, and is now a member of the HFTP PCI Compliance Task Force.
This morning, Lowe spoke at the HFTP PCI Compliance Boot Camp and was a panelist in the PCI Compliance Roundtable Update held in conjunction with HITEC 2011 in Austin, Texas.
