Shift4 Congratulates PGA TOUR Pro Ryan Moore on His CIMB Classic Victory

LAS VEGAS – Monday, October 28, 2013Shift4 Corporation, provider of the world’s largest independent payment gateway, congratulates PGA TOUR player Ryan Moore on his victory at the CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur.

Moore has been sponsored by Shift4 for two years and has recorded thirteen top ten finishes – including two TOUR victories – during that period.

“We’re thrilled to see continued success from Ryan as he does a tremendous job of representing our brand, as well as the entire Las Vegas community that we both call home,” said Shift4 CEO Dave Oder.

This morning’s sudden-death playoff victory over Gary Woodland at the CIMB Classic marks Moore’s third PGA title, after a 2012 win at the Vegas-based Shriners Hospitals for Children Open and a 2009 victory at the Wyndham Championship.

This week’s win follows a top-10 finish at last week’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, where Shift4 was recognized as Corporate Partner of the Year for their generosity in hosting the Public Safety Appreciation Station and in coordinating Birdies4Shriners.

Shift4’s Birdies4Shriners campaign matches golf with giving. For the duration of the 2012 and 2013 seasons, Shift4 tracked the performance of Moore and fellow Las Vegas TOUR pro Scott Piercy and made a donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children each time one of them recorded a birdie, eagle, or ace. In a check presentation last week at TPC Summerlin, representatives from Shift4 presented $90,000 to a group of hospital officials and patient ambassadors.

“Birdies4Shriners was designed as a way for us to support a wonderful organization that provides life-saving and life-changing medical care for children in need, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results – more than $165,000 donated in just two years’ time. We congratulate Ryan on another great win and look forward to following his success for many years to come,” said Shift4’s COO Kathy Oder.
