Shift4 Sponsors Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open

LAS VEGAS (Marketwire) Wednesday, October 06, 2010 – The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open and Shift4 Corporation offer all active duty, retired, and reserve military personnel and their immediate families complimentary admission to the charity golf tournament October 20-24, 2010.

Members of the armed forces may also enjoy free food and beverages inside Hangar 19, an exclusive venue presented by Shift4, which will be located on the practice range in close proximity to where the PGA TOUR professionals prepare for their rounds. Players will visit Hangar 19 throughout tournament week to meet and thank the men and women of the armed forces. A military aircraft will also be on site during the tournament.

“Providing funding for Hangar 19 is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the men and women of the armed forces,” said Dave Oder, founder and president of Shift4, a Las Vegas-headquartered, secure payment processing company. “We hope that our troops and their families enjoy themselves in this private venue where they can lounge, enjoy food and beverages, and watch some of the best golfers in the world.”

Military personnel based locally should see posters advertising the events displayed on-base, but the event is open to all active, reserve, and retired personnel ? regardless of their location.

“It’s an honor for us to give back, in some small way, to these men and women who sacrifice so much in defense of our nation and in defense of freedom around the world,” said Kathy Oder, Shift4’s COO and co-founder.

To gain access to the event, military personnel and their families need only present valid identification. Guests may use complimentary tournament shuttles available at The Suncoast. More information regarding the shuttle is available on the event’s Web site.
